"Water" Properties
Many communities in Anne Arundel County are situated on the water and feature water privileges for both waterfront homes as well as those not on the water. Frequently, a water privileged community will feature a community pier with available slips, a sandy beach, a playground, and perhaps a community clubhouse and swimming pool. With nominal membership fees, most water-privileged communities hold monthly outings ranging from the traditional holiday get togethers to the more sublime….you’re as likely to hear Jimmy Buffett as you are the Coasters! Sailing lessons, kayak trips, volleyball and basketball, tennis…just to mention a few of the many amenities common to these communities. The old adage, “you’re never very far away from the Bay” still holds true today in Anne Arundel County.
